Every thing you see here is factory new. A Custom one of a kind Remington 8790 20 ga Slug Gun. I start with an 870 20 ga receiver, bead blast it and parkerize it with black heavy zinc parkerizing. This is a havy duty finish that will protect this weapon in the worst conditions and last for many years. I upgrade the trigger assembly with the police heavy carrier dog follower spring and I install a Wilson Combat over size safety. I install a solid steel extractor as in the 870 police. I bead blast and parkerize a fully rifled 18.5" cantilever barrel to match the receiver. OR, you can get it with a 20" fully rifled barrel with rifled sights for $50 less. I install a one shot Wilson Combat tube extension so you can load the mag tube with four 3" magunm slugs without compacting the mag spring. Has the wilson combat mag spring and hi-viz combat follower. I then install a Knoxx SpecOps stock that takes 95% of the felt recoil. The weapon in the photos is shown with the optional R3 Limb Saver Recoil pad but this weapon will not come with this pad as they have been discontinued. Stock addjust instantly from approximatley 13.25" LOP (w/Pad) to a 15.5" LOP so will fit any shooter. Weapon is approximately 37-39" long and wieghts approximately 6.75 lbs. I am a Factory Certified Law Enforcement Armorer Certifed on the 870 and qualified to build this weapon. I have many of my 12 ga slug guns being carried by hunters, guides and fishermen for hunting and bear protection but this is the first 20ga version. compare the ballistics of the 12ga sabots and the 20ga and you will find the 20ga are superior.
